The Launch of Drawnlovely

Drawnlovely has been in the back of my mind literally for years now. It is no longer an idea I often daydreamed about but a real place where I am able to share my favorite thing to do, create! Allowing others to not only view my work but also buy it is a big step for me. Early on I went through a phase of only allowing my mom, dad, and closest friends see my creations. Even that was like pulling teeth. As I grow in my craft I realize the joy I get from seeing how happy my work can make others. My goal is that Drawnlovely will not just be a platform for myself but other creatives and entrepreneurs around me. I want to not only share my process and random doodles but also the amazing people I have come into contact with from fashion designers and photographers to musicians and visual artists.

Hot Chicken & Art Show Recap

Last week I had the pleasure of showcasing my work with some amazing artists from the Nashville and Atlanta areas. The show was a lot of fun once the stress and panic of being that last vendor setting up subsided. We were literally hanging pieces as they opened the doors. Lawd, I was freaking out! Once the doors were opened the night was full of friends and family. As always Fisk was deep. It was great to see so many old friends and make new ones.

Thank you to everyone who came out and thank you to my friend/coworker Jamal Govan for these bomb photos!
